Raised in Paignton on a diet of real ale, chips and Batman comics, exposed to countless hours of Morecambe & Wise, Benny Hill and Tom and Jerry, Guy saw the Rezillos at Torquay’s 400 Club one night in 1978 and never listened to Mantovani again.
