Hi my name is Richard Osborne, and I'm the host of Riviera Country, I'm originally from Kent but moved down to Devon in 2007, dragging my wife Michelle and three children Chloe, Rhys and Lily down here with me to enjoy a change of lifestyle, and what a change.

We live in Paignton, and in real life I run my own business, Osborne Cleaning Services, which is an external cleaning solutions company. It's a posh way of saying Window cleaning, conservatory cleaning and power washing. At least I did'nt say I was a View Clarification Technician....

My interest in country music dates back to childhood, when my parents used to play every country album they possessed on a Sunday morning. The brainwashing technique was successful to the point I now enjoy the music now purely for what it is. My country heroes are Johnny Cash and Jim Reeves, and I won't apologise for playing too many of their songs. In fact I enjoy just about any song that tells a decent story, I just like to be entertained
